Call Of The Wild 2020 Starring Harrison Ford, Ford does an excellent job as John Thorton. This is an adaptation of Jack London’s 1903 Novel, the movie takes place during the Yukon Gold Rush era. John Thorton becomes a friend to a dog named Buck who was stolen/kidnapped from his owner’s property in California to become a part of a dog sled pack, he is then taken to Skagway Alaska to run the mail delivery service/USPS route, along the way Buck becomes the leader of the pack, makes an ice rescue and also outruns an avalanche.
